If you are running your own business it is really important that you give consideration to what happens to the company, its staff and the clients it serves in the event of your death.

1. Should the business fail and close its doors?
2. Should the business continue and hand ownership over to your family?
3. Should your business partners or other key staff purchase your shares so your family benefits from the cash the sale generates instead? [/read]

Once you have gone to the effort of creating a Will, it’s really important that its kept somewhere safe and sound. It’s only the original, ink signed copy which is fit for purpose.

If it gets lost or damaged along the way, you’re back to square one so we would recommend that you consider using our secure storage facilities where you can keep your Will and any other important documents securely.

This is free for the first year and £25.00 per Will each year thereafter which is collected by Standing Order Mandate.

We would strongly urge you to allow us to record the existence of your Will on the National Will Database.

The Database can be used to search for the existence and location of your Will to prevent it from being overlooked. There is a one off charge of £15.00 to register each Will document. If this would be useful, please let us know and we can arrange the registration on your behalf.
